Welcome! We are gardeners in New Rochelle (in Westchester county, NY) devoted to creating yards that are free of herbicides, pesticides and fertilizers that harm our environment. We see gardening as a means to create a beautiful and healthy environment for humans, plants, insects and wildlife.
Learn how to grow native plants from seed! Bring a milk jug to bring your own wildflowers home or help sow wildflowers for the New Rochelle Community!
Join us Saturday February 28th 11:30-12:30pm

Healthy Yards was founded in 2010 based on the Great Healthy Yards Project started by Diane Lewis, M.D.
Started by some members of the Bedford2030 Water and Land Use Task Force, Healthy Yards has grown as a grass-roots organization to include several towns in Westchester county in New York State.
